About the Author
Vincent C. Müller's research focuses on the nature and future of computational systems, particularly on the prospects of artificial intelligence. He is the coordinator of the European Network for Cognitive Systems, Robotics and Interaction (2009-2014) with over 800 members. He has organised a number of prominent conferences in the field. Müller has published a number of articles and edited volumes on the philosophy of computing, the philosophy of AI and cognitive science, the philosophy of language, and related areas. He works at Anatolia College/ACT and at the University of Oxford.

A lovely detailed guide to the Tarot

I am somewhat familiar with the Tarot, especially the major arcana, and I'm looking to learn much more detail about its meaning and buy my own deck. I am currently reading The Complete Guide to the Tarot and can say it's what I was looking for. There is a detailed and interesting introduction about its history and origins, and a full page dedicated to each of the 78 cards' meanings. My only slight complaint is the picture quality of the cards. It's completely black and white and hard to make out some details. I'm sure there must be guides with beautifully detailed color illustrations, but this book is still a great to-the-point description of the Tarot. I believe the book has descriptions at the end for how to read the cards and use meditation. Another thing is that the small print can be hard to focus on, but otherwise this is a lovely little paperback for newbies at $7.

This is a pretty good book on the subject, but the photos are not clear and some of the instructions on how to read cards in the back of the book could be better. However, I like the detailed descriptions of each of the cards. Very useful.
